Grab a cold one, working man (and woman). You’ve earned it. Another tough year has gone by, with the economy in the crapper. You’re working your fingers to the bone, just to hold onto that house you paid too much for, and keep the kids stocked with their iPods. This is your time. The story behind this song is pretty ironic. David Allen Coe wrote it, but had to sell the song because he owed a bunch of money to the IRS. The man always putting the wrench in a little guy’s dreams.
