The Three Wolf Moon Shirt Song

Tuesday May 26, 2009 11:01 PM

Geez, internet. Now you’re just getting predictable. By now if you don’t know the phrase “Three Wolf Moon” you’re obviously still coming out of your Memorial Day stupor or have yet to go online in the last two weeks. What started as a humorous review on Amazon.com, became a blog obsession, and was then picked up by the New York Times. Of course what’s a meme with out a YouTube song and music video to go with it, right? “Three Wolf Moon” is a parody of “Colors of the Wind” from Disney’s Pocahontas that sings of this shirt’s magical powers as described in the Amazon.com review. The chorus asks the question, “Have you ever worn a t-shirt with a Three Wolf Moon?”

And who’s the winner in all of this? TheMountain of course! We might be laughing at their silly turned awesome wolf, tigers, snakes, and lion apparel; but they’re crying all the way to the bank. Seems they’re trying to stay one step ahead of the trends. On the homepage of their site they’ve advertised that there will be a Four Wolf Moon Shirt coming soon. We smell another hit song coming on.
