Shortly after the release of their highly successful album Bridge Over Troubled Water Simon & Garfunkel split up. Why? Well, Art wanted to go and pursue his acting career. Simon was left to make music alone. How did things pan out? Well, Paul had several successful albums. And Art . . . well when was the last time you saw him acting in anything. But as with many “old friends”, their relationship was eventually repared much to the joy of millions of baby boomers everywhere who could go and see them in concert and do that middle-aged-drunken-concert-sway-dance they do so well.
But what if they hadn’t gotten back together? What if instead Paul had to find a Garfunkel replacement to tour with? Enter Simon & CARfunkel. It’s all the hits you loved from Simon and Garfunkel only with a car instead of with Art. You barely notice he’s gone. And personally, we think the car looks better in vests than Art does.
