Bizarre? Sure. Tacky? You betcha. But the stuff for this auction paints Michael Jackson as an eccentric millionaire with terrible taste.
Where’s the Elephant Man’s bones? Where’s the sweater that Macaulay Culkin wore in the movie poster for Home Alone (see below)? That’s the stuff we were hoping to see. There’s nothing incriminating at all here. MJ comes off as just your run of the mill rich weirdo with a weird rhinestone fetish. If we wanted to see that kind of stuff we would have gone to a Liberace auction.
And the one thing we actually wanted to bid on: the t-shirt MJ wore in Captain EO. No, seriously where can we get our hands on that?
