We know some girls have a huge boner for Jason Segel. Personally, we’ve never had a thing for him. But after checking out his new iTunes Celebrity Playlist we’ve decided that he’s alright.
5 Reasons Why We Know Jason Segel Is An Alright Dude:
- First off all of his answers are thoughtful, but concise. Not some sort of long winded liner notes like you get with some celebrities. They’re funny with out trying too hard. And “Baba O’Riley” definitely scores points with us any day. At least this dude knows the song is not called “Teenage Wasteland”.
- “God Only Knows” is actually The Langley Schools Music Project version. Double score! If you’ve never heard this version by junior high kids in the 70s you seriously are missing out on one of the finer things in life.
- Bill Wither’s “Ain’t No Sunshine”. This dude has well rounded taste in music. For once, there’s a male celeb who’s NOT listing Jeff Buckley’s “Halleluyah” on his iTunes playlist and talking about how beautiful the song is (gag us with a spoon). Thumbs up, Jason.
- He’s taken the shame out of shameless plug for “Dracula’s Lament”. Many times celebs like Mariah Carey list their own songs as their favorites at least he’s being honest about why.
- To be honest Segel had us at “Bell Bottom Blues”. He could have listed Herb Alpert for the other songs and we wouldn’t have cared, just based on the fact that he appreciates Derek and the Dominos.
